Gina Della Penna, LMHC

I’m glad you’re here. I know that beginning a search for a therapist can be hard. Sometimes it’s not easy to ask for help, and it can be tough to find someone you feel you can trust.

I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults — both online and in my Garden City office. I have a special interest in working with young adults — helping them navigate the stressors of emerging adulthood as they embark on career, relationships, and independence. Working with people from diverse backgrounds is something I also enjoy and I provide culturally-sensitive counseling.

Please look around my website and get a sense for the kind of therapist I am. If you feel that I might be a good match for your needs, call me or send me an email. We can set up a time to talk on the phone so that I can answer your questions about working together. Let’s see how I can help you turn your current difficulty into an opportunity to live life well.

Note: In compliance with recommendations for social distancing due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all therapy sessions are currently offered online only using a convenient, secure video platform.
